Jetski to Bowen Island Tour

We issue you a one-day Boater’s License and this will allow you to drive any of our Seadoos for the duration of your tour or rental. You must have a valid government-issued photo identification. 

No, a full tank of fuel is included for your tour.

If you fall off, the Seadoo key attached to you will act as an emergency stop switch and will automatically stop the Seadoo.  Your life jacket will keep you afloat while you get back on from the rear of the jet ski.

Yes! No experience is required. All you need to drive is a valid government-issued photo ID and be 16 years or older. Our staff will go over the controls and proper operation of the Seadoo. The first few minutes of every tour and rental take place in a no wake zone (10 km/h speed limit), allowing you to get a feel for the machine before you accelerate out into the open water. Your guide will be close by throughout the tour to give you tips and tricks on Seadoo operation.

You don’t need to know how to swim to ride a Seadoo. If you fall in, your lifejacket will keep you afloat while you get back on the Seadoo.

There is always a chance of getting wet out on the water. It also depends on the ocean conditions and your style of riding. We offer change rooms and complimentary wetsuits for you to wear.

We have full-length wetsuits that are optional and complimentary for all our guests. We also have change rooms that you can use.

Our Seadoos have a capacity of 1 to 2 people, although it’s easiest to maneuver with just one person.

We recommend leaving your shoes behind. We have shelves on the dock and cubbies in our office for any belongings that you don't want to bring with you on the water. Water shoes are not needed but can help keep your feet warm.

Our Seadoos have small, watertight compartments large enough for a cell phone or wallet, as well as larger storage compartments under the hood. Our staff will demonstrate the best way to store your items on the Seadoo. There is also storage in our office and on the dock for any belongings you do not want to bring with you on the Seadoo.

It’s up to you. We have waterproof phone cases for purchase, and each Seadoo has a watertight compartment big enough for a cell phone. We recommend keeping phones in the storage compartment at the front of the Seadoo while you are moving.

Often our guests choose to wear a bathing suit and wetsuit combination, but you are welcome to wear anything you feel comfortable in. However, please note that denim is strictly prohibited on the Seadoos.

We have cubbies in our office as well as small paid lockers for valuables such as wallets, passports and phones.

YES! We have comfortable, slim-design life jackets for all of our guests to wear.

There are no bathrooms on the water! That being said, there is a bathroom available at our office you can use before and after the tour.

The office is a 10 second walk from the dock!

Jet Ski, Waverunner and Seadoo are brand names of personal water crafts that use jet propulsion as opposed to propellors.

For riders 16- 18 years of age, you must provide your valid driver’s license to operate our Seadoos. If you’re 19 years of age or older, a valid government-issued ID must be provided to operate any of our Seadoos. 

We run tours and rentals rain or shine, unless the conditions are dangerous. Vancouver is known for its sunny skies from June through September, and you can grab a complimentary all-weather suit any time of year.

Please arrive 1 hour prior to your departure.

A $12 collision coverage and $1000 deposit will be “held” (similar to renting a car) on a credit card for each rented Seadoo. We release the funds as soon as the equipment is returned without damage, in good working condition. 

Some delays may be present depending on your bank’s policy. Please note that your credit card must be brought in and physically present in order to process the deductible.

Credit card holds are preferred. However, if you don’t have a credit card we can also do a debit withdrawal or cash hold and refund when you return without damage. 

If you acquired the Trip Protection for your booking during checkout, you can cancel up to 1 hour before departure time for a full refund. Otherwise, the following policy applies:

i) 100% refund for bookings cancelled more than 7 days before your departure time.

ii) 50% refund for bookings cancelled between 3 and 7 days before your departure time.

iii) No refund for bookings cancelled less than 3 days before your departure time.

Group bookings of 10 guests or more that have acquired Trip Protection may cancel up to 48 hours before departure time for a full refund. Otherwise, the following policy applies:

i) 100% refund for bookings cancelled more than 14 days before departure time.

ii) No refund for bookings cancelled less than 14 days before departure.

You must be 19 years of age or older to sign your waiver. Anyone under 19 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver for them.

If you feel your tour captain has provided a great experience, gratuities are encouraged— and welcomed—at the end of your tour. We believe that recognizing excellent service is a personal matter, though 15-20% of your ticket price is a good rule of thumb. 

Advanced reservations are required. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance.
