Vancouver Seadoo Rentals

While we do offer walk-in Sea-doo rentals, we regularly sell out throughout the season. We strongly recommend booking online as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Paid parking is available throughout Granville Island near our office. There’s lots of space but on the weekends it can fill up, so plan to arrive a little early. Want to skip the hassle? You can easily catch a 10-15 min Uber or taxi from any hotel downtown!

We’ll issue you a one-day Boater’s License and this will allow you to drive any of our Seadoos for the duration of your tour or rental. You must have a valid government-issued photo ID or if you are 16 - 18 years of age, a valid driver’s license.

We recommend it! You can book online or call us at (604) 736-5155. Please arrive 1 hour  prior to booking.

The Base & Sport models have space for your phone, wallet, keys, a small bag. The Luxury Model can easily accommodate a picnic and supplies for the day.

It’s up to you. We have waterproof cases for purchase. We recommend keeping phones in the watertight storage compartment at the front of the Seadoo while you are moving.

No. You must not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol while operating the Seadoo. You are welcome to bring water or juice.

Our guests often choose to wear a bathing suit and wetsuit combination, as denim & jeans are prohibited on the Seadoos. Otherwise, you’re welcome to wear anything you feel comfortable in.

We have cubbies in our office as well as small paid lockers for valuables such as wallets, passports and phones.

You can leave your shoes right on the dock, but you’re also welcome to leave them in a cubby inside the office. Water shoes are not needed but can help keep your feet warm.

We have full-length wetsuits that are optional and complimentary for all our guests. They won’t keep you dry but they will keep you warm when wet as well as protect you from the sun. We also have change rooms that you can use.

YES! We have comfortable, slim-design life jackets for all of our guests to wear.

There are no bathrooms on the water! That being said, there is a bathroom available at our office you can use before and after the tour.

The office is a 20 second walk from the dock!

If you fall off, the Seadoo key will act as an emergency stop switch and will automatically stop the Seadoo. Your life jacket will keep you afloat while you get back on from the rear of the Seadoo.

Yes! No experience is required. Our staff will go over the controls and proper operation of the Seadoo. The first few minutes of your rental will be spent in a no wake zone (10km/h speed limit) where you will get a feel for the machine before you accelerate out into the open water. You don’t need to know how to swim to ride a Sea-doo. If you fall in, your lifejacket will keep you afloat while you get back on the Sea-doo. You do need to feel comfortable in and around the water with the lifejacket on so that if you do fall off you are able to confidently get back to the Sea-doo.

Jet Ski, Waverunner and Seadoo are brand names of personal water crafts. They’re all personal watercraft powered by a jet of water as opposed to a traditional propeller.

One  full tank of fuel is included in your rental.

One or two people can fit on our Seadoos, although it’s easiest to maneuver with just one person. Extra passengers can be added for $25/h.

We run rentals rain or shine, unless the conditions are dangerous. Vancouver is known for its sunny skies from June through September and you can grab a complimentary wetsuit at any time of year.

Check-in is 1 hour before departure. You will need this time to go through our training process, get changed into a wetsuit/lifejacket and go through a final safety brief, as well as complete the safety deposit for your vessel. Please refer to this video about the check-in process.

Base Model: A $12 collision coverage and $1000 credit card hold

Sport Model: A $12 collision coverage and $2000 credit card hold

Luxury Model: A $12 collision coverage and $3500 credit card hold

The credit card hold works similar to renting a car and we release the funds as soon as the equipment is returned without damage, in good working condition and with no damage. Please note that your Credit Card must be brought in and physically present in order to process the hold (No Apple Pay / Google Wallet)

Credit card holds are preferred, however we can do a debit withdrawal** (refunded when you return without damage) or cash (returned when you return without damage)

If you acquired the Trip Protection for your booking during checkout, you can cancel up to 1 hour before departure time for a full refund. Otherwise, the following policy applies:

i) 100% refund for bookings cancelled more than 7 days before your departure time.

ii) 50% refund for bookings cancelled between 3 and 7 days before your departure time.

iii) No refund for bookings cancelled less than 3 days before your departure time.

Group bookings of 10 guests or more that have acquired Trip Protection may cancel up to 48 hours before departure time for a full refund. Otherwise, the following policy applies:

i) 100% refund for bookings cancelled more than 14 days before departure time.

ii) No refund for bookings cancelled less than 14 days before departure.

You must be 19 years of age or older to sign your waiver. Anyone under 19 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver for them.

Advanced reservations are highly recommended. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance.
